Using a New Technique

I used some familiar tools today and one new one, plus a new method I have not tried before. The new tool was the Stampin' Up Flower Medallion Punch. The new method was to use a pair of Martha Stewart scissors which at one time I HAD to have, but did not use them until today.  (Smile). I punched out three flower medallions, making the last one smaller by cutting it down just a bit. The petals were bent and shaped and stacked on top of each other to make the flower fuller. The next part was a new method.

Using these Martha Stewart special scissors, I took a 1/4" strip of white paper and made a long fringe, then inked it with yellow ink and rolled it up and glued the last part down so that it created the center of the flower. The fringy piece was then manipulated to spread out. By the way, I found lots of flower ideas from this video at https://www.pinterest.com/pin/306033737155734892/.

After the flower was assembled, I inked it and sprinkled glitter on it. The butterfly is also glittered and embellished with Viva Liquid Pearls.

Finally, a bow was added at the bottom.

I used these to make the card:

Stampin' Up:  Flower Medallion Punch; Elegant Butterfly Punch
Memory Box:  Lorelai Leaf Die
Just Rite:  Grand Sentiments Stamp
Martha Stewart:  Fringe Scissors
Fiskars:  Small Butterfly Punch
Viva:  Liquid Pearls
Glitter
Pink Ribbon

Romans 10:9-11
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT

Acts 13:38-39
"Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is declared right with God—something the law of Moses could never do." NLT
