Purple and White Birthday Card

Hello to all. Hope that your weekend was wonderful.

I had a chance to make another card and had a lot of fun doing this one. It features a negative die cut in two of the corners, a textured layer, the colors purple and white, and leaves. A purple piece of patterned paper was attached to the basic white cardstock and on top of that is the embossed white cardstock with the corners cut out to show the negative die cut. (It will be fun to use these corner die cuts on another project...) This is attached with dimensional stickies, as was the sentiment which is framed in two different purple papers.  The sentiment is stamped with purple ink, although the picture makes it look more blue. Clearly, the color in the picture is not true, as the ink used was a grapey purple, not blue. The leaves are cut from several layers of aluminum foil, and purple diecut rolled roses were glued onto the card. A purple double-looped gingham bow was added to finish the project.

Here is the card:

Here are the tools used to make the card:

Romans 10:9-11
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT
